About Nancy
Hi! I’m Nancy Dillinger, MOT, OTR/L, and I’ve been an occupational therapist for 29 years, specializing in working with older adults. My passion is helping people stay safe, independent, and confident in doing the activities that matter most to them.
Whether it's putting on shoes, stepping safely into the shower, using a smartphone, improving balance, or making a home more accessible for aging in place—I’m here to help.

My Story
I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas, earned in 1996. My education was funded by a scholarship from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and in return, I proudly served veterans for 15 years. During that time, I worked with individuals facing a wide range of health challenges, including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s dementia, COPD, cancer, orthopedic injuries, multiple sclerosis, cardiac conditions, diabetes, hand impairments, amputations, and mental health concerns.
Following my VA service, I transitioned into academia, teaching occupational therapy assistant students at National American University—a rewarding experience where I learned as much from my students as they did from me.

My true passion lies in working with people in their homes, where therapy occurs in the context of real life rather than a simulated environment. For the past 10 years, I have provided in-home therapy, gaining valuable experience helping individuals maintain or improve their independence and quality of life.

In 2024, I founded OT House Calls to offer mobile outpatient occupational therapy services. My mission is to support clients in making functional gains—or at the very least, preventing decline—so they can continue participating in the daily activities that matter most to them.
